BLADE REPAIR SERVICES

In 2020, Heliwork Services expanded its capabilities by incorporating blade repair services, operating as an authorized Leonardo Blade Maintenance and Repair Centre. To house this additional service, we refurbished a 10,000 square feet hangar. The blade repairs are conducted by a team of seasoned technicians. By December 2020, we obtained the necessary approvals from UK CAA and EASA to carry out repairs on main and tail rotor blades for AW109, AW119 and AW139 models.

DYNAMIC AND HYDRAULIC COMPONENTS

In dedicated workshops, experienced engineers perform repairs and overhauls of dynamic and hydraulic components. The workshop is equipped with a magnetic particle and fluorescent particle NDT shop, disassembly area with vapor degreaser, paint stripping tanks, bead blasting equipment, inspection and assembly areas, and a hydraulic test rig. Heliwork Services holds UK CAA and EASA approvals to perform repair and overhaul for various Bell and AgustaBell helicopter components, as well as Leonardo components. Heliwork is the only organization external to Leonardo currently authorized to perform AW109 Main Transmission and Tail Rotor Gearbox overhauls.

HANGAR SERVICES

Helicopter maintenance is carried out in a 10,000 square feet hangar by a team of highly experienced UK CAA, EASA, and FAA licensed engineers and support mechanics. The company works with qualified personnel for avionics maintenance, structural repairs, and interior refurbishments. Heliwork Services currently provides Part CAO (Maintenance Management) and UK Part 145 (Maintenance Services) to a fleet of approximately 20 privately owned and operated aircraft. The company also offers complete aircraft refurbishments.
